Through a combination of high-intensity exercise, team-building exercises, and breathing practices, children will learn to build strength, increase their endurance, and develop the self-regulation skills necessary for success in all areas of life. **NEW** Wed., 9/11 5-5:50 (8 weeks, no group 10/2); $280 approx. ages 5-9 Sat., 9/14 10-10:50 (8 weeks, no group 10/5); $280 approx. ages 8-11 Sat., 9/14 11-11:50 (8 weeks, no group 10/5); $280 approx. ages 5-7 **New Classes Starting** Girl Power!: A combination of high-intensity exercise bootcamp and girl power activities is designed for girls 5-10 with sensory processing issues and/or difficulty with self regulation. Through a combination of high-intensity exercise, team-building exercises, and breathing practices, children will learn to build strength, increase their endurance, and develop the self-regulation skills necessary for success in all areas of life. **NEW** Sat., 9/14 9-9:50 (8 weeks, no group 10/5); $280 approx. ages 8-11 **New Classes Starting** Kid Power: In the occupational therapy group designed for 4-5-year-olds, a dynamic fusion of bootcamp-style activities and sensory integration techniques is employed to promote holistic development. Participants engage in semi-structured routines that blend high-energy exercises such as obstacle courses with sensory-rich experiences like tactile exploration, proprioceptive challenges, and vestibular stimulation. Through these activities, children not only enhance their motor skills, coordination, and strength but also refine sensory processing, self-regulation, and social interaction abilities. New!! Ongoing!** "Social Art" is a supervised social and art/craft group for adolescents, typically ranging in age from 10 to 14 years old. This creative and supportive community provides a safe and nurturing space for adolescents to socialize while exploring various arts and crafts. Goals and Objectives: 1. Creativity and Self-Expression: The primary goal of the group is to encourage socialization and self-expression among adolescents. It provides a platform for young artists to freely express their thoughts, emotions, and ideas through art. 2. Confidence Building: Adolescence can be a challenging period for self-esteem and confidence. Social Art aims to boost participants' self-confidence by interacting and receiving positive feedback from peers and mentors. 3. Social Interaction: The group promotes healthy social interactions among adolescents who share a common interest in art. It helps foster friendships and a sense of belonging.
